The free motorway A-31 connects to Madrid. And finally, the paid\/free AP-7\/A-7 motorways allow driving to the south by the coast. The main single carriage road is the N-332 which is a great beautiful alternative for the paid motorways if you are not in a hurry. As well, there are no traffic restrictions applied in the city centre as of yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alicante has a <a href=\"https:\/\/alicanteabout.com\/transport\/alicante-bus-station\/\">terminal bus station<\/a>. On the other hand, the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/alicanteabout.com\/transport\/alicante-tram-prices-timetables-routes\/\">Tram de Alicante<\/a><\/em> light tram-train is operated by the autonomic government corporation FGV. It is useful for routes such as <a href=\"https:\/\/alicanteabout.com\/transport\/alicante-to-benidorm-city-and-airport-transfers-bus-tram-taxi-and-prices\/#alicante-benidorm-car\">Alicante to Benidorm<\/a>, for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the long-distance trains, you can take the high-speed <a href=\"https:\/\/alicanteabout.com\/transport\/alicante-to-madrid\/\">trains to Madrid<\/a> and other cities in between to follow your trip in slower trains to your final destination. In addition to this, trains going north through the coast to Barcelona is not high speed but offer a reliable and fast service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alicante By Sea<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And last but not least you can travel to Alicante by sea.
