Clubs and concert halls hold Halloween parties: the list above has the ones whose details are confirmed, along with calmer concerts and shows. It does not open every day, so check the dates in the list above; its biggest night is 31 October. Most horror experiences are not for young children. Tickets are cheaper online, and cheaper still for children, seniors and afternoon visits. La 680e \u00e9dition a lieu du 30 octobre 2026 au 1er novembre 2026. La ville est bond\u00e9e, alors utilisez les parkings indiqu\u00e9s sur son <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firadecocentaina.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">site officiel<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>D\u00eda de Todos los Santos<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Traditionally, Spaniards celebrate <strong><em>el D\u00eda de Todos los Santos<\/em><\/strong> (All Saints&#8217; Day\/All Hallows) on <strong>1 November<\/strong>, while <strong>Halloween<\/strong> is on <strong>31 October<\/strong>. Halloween and <em>Todos los Santos<\/em> share very close dates in the calendar and, partially, their origins, but they are different celebrations. <a href=\"https:\/\/cadenaser.com\/galicia\/2023\/10\/20\/el-curioso-origen-de-halloween-en-espana-que-es-el-samain-la-tradicion-celta-que-se-conserva-en-galicia-cadena-ser\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Halloween&#8217;s origin is the Celtic <strong>Samhain<\/strong><\/a>. Later in time, the Catholic Church created the All Saints celebration to replace the pagan Samhain. All Saints ended up inheriting some of the pagan traditions, such as praying for the dead or lighting candles. Currently, most of Spain (Alicante included) celebrates both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Certaines personnes, surtout les plus \u00e2g\u00e9es, perp\u00e9tuent de nombreuses traditions. L\u2019une des plus importantes consiste \u00e0 aller au cimeti\u00e8re rendre visite aux \u00eatres chers qui nous ont quitt\u00e9s. On y apporte un beau bouquet de fleurs en signe de respect et pour se souvenir d\u2019eux. C\u2019est aussi une journ\u00e9e en famille\u00a0: certains partent \u00e0 la campagne ou d\u00e9gustent des ch\u00e2taignes grill\u00e9es bien chaudes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">On All Saints&#8217; Day, Alicante&#8217;s municipal cemetery (<em>Nuestra Se\u00f1ora del Remedio<\/em>) is open 08:00\u201318:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">It is also the season of <em>Don Juan Tenorio<\/em>, the play by Jos\u00e9 Zorrilla that Spanish theatres traditionally stage around All Saints&#8217; Day (in Spanish; see the list above).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quelques douceurs de saison \u00e0 go\u00fbter absolument<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Les plus typiques sont les <em><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hueso_de_santo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">huesos de santo<\/a><\/em> (os de saints)\u00a0: de petits rouleaux de massepain fourr\u00e9s d\u2019une cr\u00e8me sucr\u00e9e au jaune d\u2019\u0153uf. Halloween, le 31 octobre, est un jour ouvr\u00e9 normal. La Toussaint, le 1er novembre, est un jour f\u00e9ri\u00e9 national (<em>festivo<\/em>).
