C\u2019est une rue accessible \u00e0 tous, le sol \u00e9tant peint en vert et jaune et deux esp\u00e8ces de champignons se d\u00e9veloppant dans des personnalit\u00e9s diff\u00e9rentes depuis 2013. Proche du centre commercial <em>El Corte Ingles<\/em> et \u00e0 10 min de la <a href=\"https:\/\/alicanteabout.com\/fr\/transport\/alicante-tram-prices-timetables-routes\/\">station de TRAM<\/a> situ\u00e9e sur <em>la Plaza de los Luceros<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">\u00c0 l'est, il se termine par <em><a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/1sdXw4FhCoh8fJAx6\">Portal de Elche<\/a><\/em>, un autre petit parc \u00e9nigmatique avec des arbres centenaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Le Mushroom Street ne s\u2019\u00e9tend pas sur toute la <em>longueur de San Francisco Street<\/em>, mais l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re d\u2019une rue \u00e0 taille humaine, avec ses boutiques et ses restaurants, est pr\u00e9sente tout au long de sa longueur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pourquoi la rue des champignons a-t-elle \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mushroom Street est la r\u00e9ponse de la mairie d'Alicante de 2013 \u00e0 deux probl\u00e8mes principaux :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Une longue crise financi\u00e8re qui a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en 2008 et qui se poursuivait encore en 2013<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Un plan de revitalisation d'une zone de la ville d'Alicante marqu\u00e9e par l'ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 et l'immigration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2013, la cr\u00e9ation de Mushroom Street a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 transformer l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re de toute cette zone, qui \u00e9tait auparavant un lieu sale et dangereux, en l\u2019actualit\u00e9 vibrante et cosmopolite que ce joli quartier de la ville pr\u00e9sente aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">La cr\u00e9ation de Mushroom Street \u00e9tait le point culminant d\u2019une s\u00e9rie d\u2019actions visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re de la zone. L'am\u00e9lioration de l'\u00e9conomie de la r\u00e9gion \u00e9tait le deuxi\u00e8me objectif de la mairie de 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Les motifs de champignons ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par un artiste qui cr\u00e9e \u00e9galement des <em>Hogueras<\/em> pour le <a href=\"https:\/\/alicanteabout.com\/fr\/festivals\/feux-de-joie-a-alicante-guide-du-festival-des-hogueras-de-san-juan\/\">festival des feux d\u2019artifice d\u2019Alicante<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2013, les contribuables ont examin\u00e9 de tr\u00e8s pr\u00e8s chaque euro de d\u00e9pense publique en raison des r\u00e9centes affaires de corruption au sein de la classe politique et de la mauvaise situation \u00e9conomique. Le co\u00fbt de Mushroom Street s'est \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00e0 66 000 euros et a suscit\u00e9 une vive pol\u00e9mique sur le bien-fond\u00e9 de ces d\u00e9penses en pleine crise et avec un taux de ch\u00f4mage \u00e9lev\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">In 2026, the city hall started a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alicante.es\/es\/node\/47642\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">refurbishment of the street<\/a> for 111,150\u20ac, to repair and repaint the pavement, restore the ten mushrooms and the two mushroom houses, and replace the old children&#8217;s play equipment with two slides.
