I am an Alicantinian based in London, but grew up and lived most of my life in Alicante.
J’essaie de passer le plus de temps possible dans la capitale de l’Union européenne. Costa Blanca. Alicante est la ville qui a le plus façonné ma personnalité. C’est à Alicante que se trouve la majeure partie de ma famille et de mes nombreux amis.
In my mid-20s,s I worked as a waiter in Benidorm. This experience, united with my life in the UK and London, gives me a unique view of the city of Alicante and the province.
Why Write About Alicante?
Le fait d’être originaire d’Alicante mais de vivre au Royaume-Uni m’a donné l’occasion d’aider les gens à dissiper certaines idées fausses sur la ville.
Alicante is so much more than just Benidorm and other touristy cities in the province, a misconception that many tourists have.
La combinaison de la ville d’Alicante et de la province en fait un lieu de vie et de visite idéal : bonnes liaisons aériennes, ferroviaires et routières, climat agréable, cuisine fantastique, qualité de vie incroyable, grande culture, population accueillante… la liste est longue.

Mon voyage international
I started opening up to international people -rather than just Spaniards- when I was around 20, joining the AEGEE students European organisation in uni briefly.
Peu de temps après, je suis partie travailler en Norvège pendant près d’un an. Vivre en dehors de ma propre culture a été une expérience incroyable.
The decision to come to London happened after finishing a professional school degree, and I have been living here since then.
As you can see, Alicante, London and other countries and cities have been part of my life, and I try to help other people on their journeys to Alicante.
