Where to Find the Coach/Bus Stops and Tickets
Buses and coaches leave the airport from level 2, on the departures road; coaches arriving at the airport drop passengers on level -2. Use the lifts or mechanical ramps to get there from arrivals, departures or car parking.
Alicante Airport to Alicante City
The bus travelling from Alicante Airport to Alicante City Centre is line C-6. The price is 4.70€. Only contactless and bundle cards are accepted.
- Ticket price: 4.70€
- Timetable: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; from the airport every 10–12 minutes by day and every 30 minutes at night
- Buy the tickets: At the bus. This is the official website.
The bus stops at the train station, TRAM station, city centre and nearby popular hotels. The ride is about 20 minutes long, depending on the traffic.
Alicante Airport to Benidorm
The route from Alicante Airport to Benidorm is operated by Alsa. They are the biggest coach operator in Spain using comfortable and safe buses. The coaches usually feature WiFi and toilets.
- Ticket price: 7.99€
- Timetable: 17 coaches a day from the airport, about one every hour (see the timetables below).
- Buy the tickets: Alsa website or app (card, PayPal or Apple Pay), at Alsa ticket machines or on board when the service allows it. If your flight is late and you miss the bus, you can change to the next one for free, up to 12 hours after the original departure.
There are two stops in Benidorm and every bus stops at both: first Benidorm Bus Station (about 45 minutes) and then Avenida Europa (about 55 minutes). Get off at the one nearer to your destination.

Alicante Airport to Calpe
This route is operated by Alsa. They are the biggest coach operator in Spain and operate comfortable and safe buses. The coaches usually feature WiFi and toilets.
- Ticket price: 11.11€ on the direct coach
- Timetable: 4 direct coaches a day in each direction, taking 1h55 (see the timetable below). Other services need a change.
- Buy the tickets: Alsa website or app (card, PayPal or Apple Pay), at Alsa ticket machines or on board when the service allows it. If your flight is late and you miss the bus, you can change to the next one for free, up to 12 hours after the original departure.
There is only one stop at Calpe, Calpe Estacion.

Alicante Airport to Santa Pola is operated by Vectalia’s line number 8.
- Ticket price: 3.85€ for one trip or 34.50€ for 20 trips.
- Timetable: only a few buses a day, and fewer at weekends (see the timetable below). The bus continues to San Vicente and the University of Alicante.
- Buy the tickets: Buy the tickets on the bus. Always have banknotes up to 20€ to buy the tickets and receive your change.

Alicante Airport to Elche
The route between Alicante Airport and Elche is operated by Avanza (Autobuses Urbanos d’Elx) with two lines: R11 (Elche – Parque Empresarial – Torrellano – Airport) and R10 (Elche – Torrellano – Airport – L’Altet – Arenales del Sol).
- Ticket price: from 1.35€
- Timetable: line R11 leaves the airport from 5:19 to 22:00, every 15 to 50 minutes on weekdays, and from 8:15 to 21:35, every 80 to 110 minutes, at weekends and on holidays. Check the timetables of line R11 and line R10.
- Buy the tickets: on the bus, in cash (they give change up to 10€) or with a contactless card.
Alicante Airport To Murcia
The route from Alicante Airport to Murcia is operated by Alsa and takes around 55min.
- Ticket price: 6.45€
- Timetable: 12 coaches a day in each direction, some of them Monday to Saturday only (see the timetable below).
- Buy the tickets: Alsa website or download their app for Android or iPhone. Also by cash on the bus.

There are other routes available from Alicante-Elche Airport. The easiest is to go to Alsa’s website and check if your destination is there. Remember that the Airport-Alicante centre line C-6 has a stop at Alicante’s bus station which gives you more destination options.

Where is the Bus Stop at the Airport?
Buses and coaches leave from level 2, on the departures road at Alicante Airport, and coaches arriving at the airport stop on level -2. Lifts and elevators are available.
Alternative Transport from Alicante Airport
Alicante-Elche airport is connected by road only. There are no railway connections available to Alicante Airport yet: Adif is drafting the projects for a rail link between Alicante station and the airport, but no date has been announced for the works or the opening.
There are several alternative means of transport you can use apart from the bus to reach your destination.
Alicante-Elche Airport has a taxi stop to get rides to other cities such as Benidorm, Torrevieja or Altea.
There is a free fast parking area where private cars can pick up or drop off passengers. Transfers companies can operate on it as well.
There are several car rental companies with pick-up and drop-off services at the airport.
There are also long-term parking services that can hold your private car during the time of your trip duration.
